Nursing mothers have to maintain a balance of not gaining too much weight after child birth and using safer methods to reduce such gains.
There is nothing wrong with the weight gain immediately after giving birth to a child. It is just a hormonal and natural maternal instinct that the body is made to develop.
It is actually meant for the good of the new child as most of it is supposed to be used up as reserve energy for the mother while suckling.
Since you are nursing or breast feeding the infant, there is a limited scope of things that you should take. In modern societies where a new mother has to go back to work after a short maternity leave, then the fat gained after birth is a issue of concern for most.
As a nursing other, you should avoid all those weight loss supplements and drugs by all costs. It is not advisable and I don't think it's prudent to do so.
Diets are also out of the question at this particular time since you need your energy in order for your mammary glands to produce baby milk. Your only choice is to use natural methods of weight loss without necessarily doing an al out war using diets.
As a matter of fact I would advice any nursing mother to avoid getting in weight loss and fat burning wars until they are no longer breastfeeding. And for good reasons too.
However, and when your child is no longer on breast milk, you should take the safest route to burning the fat accumulated. I repeat, use natural ways to burn excess baby fat and avoid drugs and supplements.
One of the most popular programs for burning excess fat and becoming lean again is the 'burn the fat, feed the muscle' by Tom Venturo. This program is now available online as an ebook.
The program opens up the weight loss enigma to you and explains why most people fail to lose their body fat and get leaner. You will have case studies of people that have used the program with much success, in most cases within a week.
The best part is that it is all in natural weight loss methods, no supplements, no drugs, no excessive use of the gym.
I don't want to preempt Tom's program but ill say that its surely makes much sense why most people will never get it right as long as they are hung up on drugs, supplement and gyms.
Don't forget he is an actual certified gym instructor, degreed in BSc. Exercise Science, and won several body building contests in America.
Find out RIGHT HERE!!, (Click on Tom Venturo's Picture on my blog to get to his website) how normal gym hating-former supplement taking people have seen huge benefits with this new method to convert body and baby fat into instant muscle tones.
